Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in London and Kent. Since I was little I have been creative, drawing and making things... I was an art attack kid and not much has changed! There are so many amazing galleries in London and I love mooching around them on the weekends.
Did you study photography or a related course?
I studied graphic design at Chelsea - it was a creative degree so in that sense it related. I assisted a stylist and a photographer on the side whilst at university and kind of fell in love with buzz of being on shoots.
Tell us about your work.
My portfolio is constantly evolving and developing and it could well be a life long journey. Currently I am just doing photography in between the day job, but I shoot as much as I can.
What do you love about photography?
I love the possibility and freedom of photography. It’s really great to have an idea and get together with a team of motivated and creative people and create something really cool.
Which photographers inspire your practice?
So many great photographers! Miles Aldridge, David La Chapelle, Billy Kid. I would say, however, that my work is more influenced by art and pop culture past and present.
Tell us about the featured editorial, Press Play.
The crazy colourful 90's! Will Smith style in the Prince of Bel Air, TLC and 90's Versace campaigns. I worked with my fabulous team Hannah Grunden on styling, Ruth Campbell on make up and Sarah Gobourne created the colour and pattern galore set. We have worked on a few shoots together now and always have a laugh.
